My Illustration Friday entry for the title “Pretend.” Thought I’d try out a different style! (click for a larger view…)

Decided to take my moleskine to Turkey with me, however this seems to be the only sketch I brought back with me due to laziness and/or food poisoning. Mechanical pencil and my gorgeous Pentel brush pen which seems to handle palm trees rather well!

Christine bought me a nice little moleskine sketch book, so I decided to do some sketching around Longnor and it’s surrounding villages. More to follow…

Man, I thought I’d have waaay more pages of this comic completed by now… Alas, with re-locating and what-not, progress has been slower than I expected. This aside, here are the first couple of pages of BF & Paul, with COLOUR and everything! Just about getting the hang of lettering in Illustrator, thanks to balloontales.com (an awesome site for this kinda thing.)

Finally got round to colouring this sketch…

Page 2 inked (minus speech bubbles and a couple of window decals), actually finished this a few weeks ago but not had time to stick it on here! After weeks and weeks of listening to a busy tone waiting for BT to pick up… I have finally got my new phone line installed in the flat and broadband has been ordered! So hopefully be able to update the blog more frequently soon.

A couple of new comics projects! First up, me and my good friend Lee have recently been discussing ideas for a possible webcomic. It is to be called "Broccoli Face & Paul" - here’s my initial design for B.F. below, click for a full view - more details coming soon…

Also in the pipeline - a possible collaboration with Fil who’s currently scripting his graphic novel, below is a sample of my inks and colours over Fil’s pencils:

Currently working on some figurative sketches to pitch to educational publishers. This is my latest attempt, click [here] to see work in progress. Got my ‘Queen of Hearts‘ Process page back up, and sorted out (to my knowledge) all the dead links. Criss has also started a blog, which can be found [here]
